The Pinewood Site Custodial Trust (PSCT) was formed as a result of a settlement agreement between Safety-Kleen, Inc. and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) for the closure and ongoing maintenance of a former commercial hazardous waste storage, treatment and landfill facility near Pinewood, South Carolina.
